Daniel Crommelin Verplanck (1762–1834) was born in New York and spent the early part of his life in the family home on lower Wall Street. He was the eldest son of Judith Crommelin and Samuel Verplanck (39.173). While attending Columbia College (formerly King's College), he married Elizabeth Johnson, daughter of the president of Columbia. They had two children. Following her death in 1789, Verplanck married Ann Walton, with whom he had seven children. They lived on Wall Street until 1803 and then moved to Fishkill-on-Hudson, New York. He represented Dutchess County in Congress from 1803 until 1809. The portrait was painted in 1771 when Daniel was nine years old. The background has traditionally been identified as a view from the Verplanck country house at Fishkill, looking toward Mount Gulian.

Valitavad materjalid

In the product dropdown selection you can select your favorite material and size. Select your favorite size and material between the following options:

  • Akrüülklaasist trükk (peal tõeline klaasikate): An print on acrylic glass, which is sometimes labelled as a print on plexiglass, will transform the artwork into marvellous décor and forms a viable alternative option to aluminium and canvas art prints. The acrylic glass protects your selected art print against light and external influences for between 40-60 years.
  • Lõuend: A canvas direct print is a printed cotton canvas stretched on a wooden frame. Canvas Prints have the great advantage of being low in weight, which means that it is easy and straightforward to hang up the Canvas print without the help of any wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for any type of wall.
  • Alumiiniumist dibondtrükk (metall): Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an impressive effect of depth - for a modern impression and a non-reflective surface structure. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your best start to fine art prints with aluminum. For the Aluminium Dibond option, we print your chosen artwork right on the aluminium white-primed surface.
  • Plakat lõuendimaterjalil: Our poster print is a printed flat canvas with a fine surface structure, which resembles the actual work of art. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin between 2-6 cm round about the print in order to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.

Lahtiütlus: We try whatever we can to depict our art products in as much detail as possible and to illustrate them visually in our shop. At the same time, the pigments of the printed materials, as well as the imprint might vary slightly from the presentation on the monitor. Depending on your settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, colors might not be printed as realisitcally as the digital version depicted here. Given that the are printed and processed manually, there may as well be minor differences in the size and exact position of the motif.
